Designed originally as a preamplifier/buffer for the DD1 frequency counter, the AADE HF Preamplifier can be mounted inside a radio, or built as a stand-alone HF preamp (antenna amplifier)...

Can be powered from an

AC source such as filiment transformer in radio, or

DC source of 5 to 24 volts

.01 uF capacitors are supplied with the kit for input and output but the input capacitor should be kept as small as possible if connected across an oscillator tank circuit.
